Let's say you have purchased a baby video monitor or received one for a gift.
Now, how do you use it?
When setting the video monitor up in the baby's room, make sure that the camera is picking up baby's sleep area. Some video monitor cameras have wide-angle ranges whereas others do not. Video monitors have varying transmission ranges, and the range may vary in your house. Concrete walls or aluminum siding may affect your actual transmission range. Check that the monitor and receiver work well in the locations you have chosen. If you cannot clearly see or hear transmissions on the receiver, try moving each piece separately until you have satisfactory reception.
